Physical Therapist
Kayla was born and raised in the Dodson Branch area of Jackson County. After graduating from high school in 2015, she attended the local Tennessee Tech University where she majored in Exercise Science and Physical Wellness. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, Kayla moved to Chattanooga with her husband. While there, she obtained her doctoral degree in in Physical Therapy in May 2022 at the University of TN at Chattanooga.
Kayla is certified in LSVT BIG and she is very excited to use this treatment approach with patients who have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Kayla enjoys working with orthopedic patients as well as those struggling with balance deficits. She is excited to join the Putnam Physical Therapy™ team where she will be able to provide exceptional care to those with various injuries and aliments in order to help return them to their optimal function.
When Kayla is not working, you can find her spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys swimming, walking outdoors, reading, watching movies, playing with her nephews, and date nights with her husband.
