Chelsea Spivey, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Motivated by the success of others, Chelsea is passionate about health and wellness. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Science in Nutrition in 2011. She then obtained her Associate’s Degree in PTA at Volunteer State Community College in 2014. Chelsea gained experience working in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic in Paris, TN, immediately after graduation, and then pursued the opportunity to become a traveling PTA before the love of her life wooed her to Cookeville, where he lived and worked.

The field of physical therapy and caring for people recovering from sports injuries, orthopedic injuries and surgeries is her Christian calling. She genuinely loves people and celebrates each patient’s success. She is able to pursue her passion as the newest full-time clinician at Putnam Physical Therapy™. As an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Chelsea is able to build and refine her skills with the most up-to-date therapeutic interventions.

Chelsea is a native of Paris, Tennessee but has happily found her home in this area as her love for the outdoors, landscapes and people of the Upper Cumberland area grows. Chelsea enjoys hiking, kayaking, working out at Putnam County YMCA, traveling, attending football games at the University of Tennessee and spending time with her husband, friends and family.
